The Use of Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium

The Use of Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium
Calcium is found in the skeleton, in the teeth, in the soft tissues of the organism, being an essential element in all the plasma of the tissues and cells. Calcium regulates heart rhythm, fluids and ions, such as sodium and potassium.  This mineral is very essential for a normal heart rate.
The normal organism contains 9.0 and 11.0 mg. of calcium per 100 c.c. of serum, which quantity varies in children, this proportion increasing or decreasing in them or in the adult according to their diverse troubles.
Calcium Deficiency can result in muscle cramp in your arms and legs. Prolonged deficiency in infants can cause rickets and in adults osteoporosis. Most frequently doctors and dieticians recommend Milk and Dairy consumption to increase your calcium. But this is not true; we must ask the question, ‘where did the animal get the calcium from in the first place?’  Green leafy vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds are a rich source of first class calcium. Where as the calcium from the dairy is second hand calcium, and most people do not have the enzymes to digest these foods and suffer an allergic reaction.
Studies show that people who have high amounts of Dairy are the ones that suffer the most calcium deficiency.
Another fact to bear in mind is that all foods that cause acid in the digestive system and body are robbing you of calcium. The body has to buffer up the alkalinity and it is done by drawing on your calcium reserves from the bones and teeth to produce sodium bicarbonate in the duodenum to assist in the next part of digestion.
It was discovered that most stomach ulcers are in fact caused by a strain of acid-thriving bacteria called "Heliobacter pylori", a new class of controversially-named "nanobacterium" has also been discovered to be the true cause of many cases of heart disease and cancer.

It pulls calcium out of the body and uses it to build housing for itself, which interferes with proper tissue, organ, and circulatory functioning.

The end result is much of the heart disease, cancer, and other things we've been living with for so long is directly related to this acid condition.
Apart from Fresh fruits and vegetables, root crops, seeds and nuts, which  encourage the body to be more alkaline, absorb and retain calcium, there is one good habit to develop and that is the power of fresh lemon juice and bicarbonate of soda. In the past we used to add bicarbonate in our cooking of peas, vegetables, especially greens, baking and much more, but with the advent of this modern living it is gone down the drain and so we suffer more diabetes, cancer, ulcers, arthritis and joint problem.

Magnesium: Adult human bodies contain about 24 grams of magnesium, with 60% in the skeleton, 39% intracellular (20% in skeletal muscle), and 1% extracellular. Because of the important interaction between phosphate and magnesium ions, magnesium ions are essential to the basic nucleic acid chemistry of life, and thus are essential to all cells of all known living organisms.
Magnesium is the main mineral for a healthy body and brain,
. Without magnesium the body will not be able to absorb and retain calcium for the bones and teeth. Plants have an additional use for magnesium in that chlorophylls are magnesium-centered  porphyrins.  Magnesium deficiency in plants causes late-season yellowing between leaf veins, especially in older leaves, and can be corrected by applying  Epsom salts.
low levels of magnesium in the human body has been associated with the development of a number of  illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, and osteoporosis.
Intracellular magnesium is correlated with intracellular potassium. Magnesium is absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. In humans, magnesium appears to facilitate calcium absorption. Oral
magnesium supplements have been claimed to be therapeutic for some individuals who suffer from Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)
Magnesium deficiency can be caused by diarrhea, vomiting, hypothyroidism and suicidal tendencies. We need magnesium to encourage good bowel movement and loose magnesium through this process. Magnesium is a relaxant and can aid sleep, suffers from HBP and is used in a lot of medication to complement the action of the drug.

A good source of magnesium, nuts, seeds, Spices, nuts, cereals, coffee, cocoa, tea, and vegetables are rich sources of magnesium. Green leafy vegetables such as spinach are also rich in magnesium as they contain chlorophyll. Reduced dietary magnesium intake in modern Western countries compared to earlier generations may be related to food refining and modern fertilizers that contain no magnesium.
According to Dr B.Herzog, If you come down with Cancer, getting your PH level up to .9 for a Month will probably kill the CANCER,  Taking Baking Soda alone will do this, get the PH Strips you can check your urine which should be acid and your salvia which should be alkaline. Old North Carolina doctor mixed 1/4 sodium bicarbonate & 3/4 pure maple syrup heat on medium heat stir briskly take 1-6 Tablespoons each day, Normal Ph level is 7.4 to fight cancer try to  get your Ph up to 9 for a month..

Potassium, referred to as one of the electrolytes, is works along side sodium to regulate fluid balance and for stimulating the kidneys to remove waste products. The more potassium you consume the more sodium you excrete, which will help to regulate your blood pressure.  Potassium ion is necessary for the function of all living cells. Potassium ion diffusion is a key mechanism in nerve transmission, and potassium depletion in animals, including humans, results in various neurological dysfunctions. Potassium is the eighth or ninth most common element by mass (0.2%) in the human body, so that a 60 kg adult contains a total of about 120 grams of potassium. The body has about as much potassium as sulfur and chlorine, and only the major minerals calcium and phosphorus are more abundant.
Epidemiological studies and studies in animals subject to hypertension indicate that diets high in potassium can reduce the risk of hypertension and possibly stroke (by a mechanism independent of blood pressure), and a potassium deficiency combined with an inadequate thiamine intake has produced heart disease in rat.
Potassium is found in especially high concentrations within plant cells, and in a mixed diet, it is mostly concentrated in fruits. The high concentration of potassium in plants, associated with comparatively low amounts of sodium, resulted in potassium first being isolated from potash, the ashes of plants, giving the element its name.
Work to increase the potassium with  Foods rich in potassium which are parsley, dried apricots, dried milk, chocolate, various nuts (especially almonds and pistachios), potatoes,    bamboo shoots, bananas, avocados, soybeans, bran, although it is present in sufficient quantities in most fruits, vegetables, meat and fish.
